We have some exciting news to share! “My Life Is My Sun Dance: Prison Writings of Leonard Peltier” won the "Best Spoken Word" award at the 13th annual Native American Music Awards.

Both of our CDs, “My Life Is My Sun Dance: Prison Writings of Leonard Peltier” and “Noble Red Man: Lakota Wisdomkeeper Mathew King,” as well as Harvey Arden, were nominated for a total of 5 Native American Music Awards!!!

"My Life Is My Sun Dance: Prison Writings of Leonard Peltier" was nominated for the Best Historical and Best Spoken Word recordings. It won the "Best Spoken Word" Award this year!!! The CD features readings of Peltier's words, by best-selling author and former National Geographic writer/editor of 23 years, Harvey Arden, with musical accompaniment by Rev. Goat Carson & the New Orleans Light.

"Noble Red Man: Lakota Wisdomkeeper Mathew King" was also nominated for Best Historical and Best Spoken Word recording. It too consists of readings by Harvey Arden, with musical accompaniment by Jeff Foreman and David Lee.

Harvey Arden was nominated for the "Native Heart" award for the "Noble Red Man" CD. This project is one of many projects that Harvey has dedicated himself to, in order to share the stories, lives, history, and messages of the Native & Indigenous People, worldwide. For those unfamiliar with Harvey Arden, here is just a short list of the projects he has been involved with, relating to his life-long dedication to working with Native American Indians:
